Men Love to Infiltrate Women's Spaces

 10.21.25

Hi, my loves, I wanted to talk about something that I've seen a lot recently, and that is men infiltrating women's spaces. By this, I mean our comfort spaces.

The most recent example of this is the Victoria's Secret fashion show. While yes, men can enjoy things like this, there should be no reason that straight men who clearly have no explicit interest in watching a runway show should be commenting on the women doing the shows. Calling them 'attainable', 'ratchet', or even 'ugly'. Like sir, who are you exactly? It really grinds my gears that the new age of men seem to involve themselves in every conversation.

They're sassy, and it seems like they want to be the girls now-a-days. I mean seriously. This also goes to how infuriating it is to talk to them. I've come to the realization that I prefer avoiding any romantic connection with men because they often disappoint me or say things that show me that they think they're worth more than me or that they're prize.

Since when did men stop courting? Or stop acting like the women are worth diamonds and rubies? I feel like it's not just a generation issue, it's a man issue. They're so used to being served that now they cry about the 'male loneliness epidemic' when it's caused by their own actions. If you couldn't tell I'm rolling my eyes behind the screen.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk, sorry not sorry. - Sydney Unscripted.
